Julie Scott and Greg Allen, along with CTS client Groupon, visited the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus on November 7th to meet with College of Business students, faculty and Dean to discuss its non-traditional consulting model in collaboration with CTS clients.

Their discussions focused on the consultant-client relationship and how CTS collaborates with its clients to solve business challenges within the ever-evolving global high tech landscape.  Their meetings delved into the integrated IT and business process methodology leveraged by CTS in cloud-based and other reporting and business intelligence tools.

During their campus visit, Julie and Greg spoke with several different student groups and classes including the MBA Fellows, consisting of the top MBA candidates.

They also spoke to undergraduate students enrolled in the Honors Program and James Scholars students to discuss the values, traits, and decisions that led to success as well as lessons learned.

As the capstone event, CTS led an interactive presentation with the Finance Academy.  The Finance Academy is comprised of the top juniors and seniors enrolled in the College of Business who are student leaders with substantial involvement in the college, under the direction of Professor Davis.

The day-long campus visit wrapped up with a de-brief with College of Business Dean Larry DeBrock, with the goal to return to campus to meet with other College of Business students in the near future.
